As with every new device, once people start to receive them we start hearing about all of the flaws of the device. The following issues pose a big problem as T-Mobile gears up for the official launch of the G2. First up is that unique “Z” hinge mechanism which looks very cool and allows the display to rest almost flush with the keyboard allowing for easy screen to keyboard maneuvering.
This issue, as shown above, is that the “Z” hinge is already becoming really loose allowing the display to actually drop down if holding the G2 upside down. Check out the video below for a better understanding.
The second issue users are noticing is that the internal storage for the G2 which is supposed to be 4GB is actually showing just under 2G which is said to come on the HTC Desire Z, seems like someone pulled the old switcheroo with the device batch. We’re unsure if T-Mobile and HTC knows about this issue, but they need to start finding a way to make this right and fast before the official launch coming up next Wednesday.
