We just heard from a very reliable source that Clearwire will be release an Android Superphone in December manufactured by Samsung. The phone looks very similar to the Samsung Galaxy S series and is reported to be running Android 2.2 on the current test devices. The device will also feature a front facing camera with software in partnership with OOVOO for internet calling similar to Skype. One other possibility mentioned was the inclusion of a fee FREE portable hotspot for all you tetherers out there.
The device will apparently be called the Samsung Notion and also includes a full Keyboard. Sounds good! It gets even better as our source also indicated that they will be releasing the EVO in January and more Android phones will follow.
As we get more info and hopefully some pictures, we’ll be sure to let you know.
