Samsung I-400 Surfaces with Verizon Branding
The image above is the Samsung i-400 which is headed to Verizon by the obvious branding at the top of this device. The i-400 is rocking a rather unique form factor which, as you can see, features a smaller secondary display. We’re assuming this will display the time as well as call information.
This device is said to be running Android 2.1 and we can see the TouchWiz UI that is on Verizon’s Galaxy S phone, the Samsung Fascinate. We also know that Bing has made it to this device as the default search engine, which we’ve come to expect from Verizon after their statement regarding their relationship with Microsoft. Pricing and availability have not yet been announced nor has this device for that matter, so we’ll just have to wait and see what the holidays bring.
Anyone find this device appealing?

Motorola WX445 Ciena Offers Entry-Level Specs Headed To Verizon
The Motorola WX445 Ciena, also known as the Motorola Citrus that was leaked back in August, has shown up again offering a little more specs that will make up this entry-level device as it to be heading to Verizon. This device offers nothing us power users would be interested in, but still offers the beloved Android OS and could be possibly gracing shelves this holiday season.
Features of the Motorola WX445 include:
- Android 2.1
- 3-inch QVGA screen at 240×320 resolution
- 528MHz Qualcomm chipset
- 256MB RAM
- 512MB ROM,
- 3MP camera with no autofocus or flash
- This device will also feature that BackTrack pad which we’ve previously seen with the Motorola Charm on T-Mobile
This device was rumored to be hitting shelves in September, but as we know that didn’t happen it looks like Verizon may be ditching this device altogether, although it might still sneak out in their holiday line-up which we previously suggested.
Would anyone consider this device if Verizon still launched it?
