If you’re looking for an Android device that’s easy on the wallet and you are wanting Sprint service then the Kyocera Zio is the device for you as it has been spotted at Radio Shack with obvious Sprint branding. The last we heard about the Zio is that pre-orders have started on Cricket Wireless, and it seems Sprint has taken this entry-level device under their wing. When we first learned of this device, it was running Android 1.6 (donut), but now Sanyo/Kyocera have stated that once it hits shelves it will be enjoying Android 2.1 (Eclair).
Features of the Kyocera Zio include:
- 3.5-inch WVGA display
- 600MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 CPU
- 3.2MP camera
- Android 1.6
Anyone looking to pick this device up when it’s available?
